While looking into different types of head-wear i discovered a series of Mongolian headdresses worn by Mongolian royalty which incorporated hair into the headdress which looks very bold and sculptural. This was also the inspiration for some of the headdresses worn by Padme Amidala in the movie star wars.
I also came across a traditional Russian headdress called the Kokoshnik commonly worn by women and girls between the 16th and 19th century.Although most Kokoshniks were worn by married women they were also worn by peasant girls on special occasions. I liked this headdress as like the mongolian headdress it was very sculptural and striking. This headdress also appears in star wars.
